Gospel choir a chance to get the 'cheapest therapy you'll ever get'

Singing teacher Alyssa Poole says "we all need a little bit of gospel in our lives".

Christmas is synonymous with carols but one woman wants to throw a gospel choir into the mix as well.

Instead of confining the songs to the shower, Alyssa Poole is calling on everyone of all ages to consider joining her new music group in New Plymouth, Taranaki.

Dubbed the Gospel Rocks Choir, it is a chance for crooners to come together just in time for the start of the festive season.
